Couldn't pass up the Living Social deal for Ice Skating at Bellevue Park this year! I treated my step mom and sister to a night of skating and we took Hailey out for her 2nd go at it on those awesome doubled blade skates. We had a great time, laughing and enjoying the moment. It is pretty hard to not have a smile on your face when you skating on ice with a pretty darn cute 4 year old who can barely figure out how to keep her feet from moving. I just keep thinking, Toe Pick! from one of my favorite movies, The Cutting Edge, yeah, I know, I am a bit of a corn ball! I love this picture of Hailey, she is lost in thought and fully concentrating on her ice skating skills.
After this really cute pic of her on the wall, she looked at me and sat down (pic above right) and started making snow angles (pic left), it was pretty funny, we just laughed and laughed. She is such a little clown, she reminds me of myself when I was little. I would just do stuff to make people laugh - maybe that is what they called showing off? ;)
We took some fun pics on the ice as there were only about 10 people max on the ice the entire time we were there. Have to remember this for next year, go after xmas on a week day during the final week they are open.
