Old time fun - August Park a Week #2

For this weeks park, we stayed close to home and went to a neighborhood park just up the road called Heron Park.

This park reminded me of growing up as the toys were mostly wood, and had the metal slides that an adult can fit on. There are also tennis courts, and a nice walking trail that takes you behind some of the neighborhoods in the area.

This will be a great park that we will keep coming to when we just want to get out of the house. Too bad it is not in walking distance.

  

We give this one 4 stars as it a bit small, but for the most part it is a great picnic on a Sunday afternoon park.
