A swimming adventure - August Park a Week #3

For this weeks park of the week, we checked out an old favorite park of mine in the summer, Meydenbauer Beach with the Twohy Family.

I was not sure how Hailey was going to take swimming in the lake but she jumped right in swam like a fish the whole time. The depth was great, where it barely went past their tummies and they were able to keep their feet on the ground.

We had a picnic dinner and the girl enjoyed swimming and playing in the sand.

This park prompted us to put a swim ring in the emergency summer fun bag :)

We give this park 4.5 stars for the fact that they have life guards on duty, shallow water, decent sand, play toys, clean grass but there are pesky ducks that were so friendly they tried to have lunch with the girls and that included their toes.
