Puerto Vallarta

We woke up on Tuesday to beautiful view of the port of Puerta Vallarta with a Super Walmart across the street. I will spare you the pictures of that side however.

When we got off the boat we were immediately greeted by lots of locals trying to make fast cash off of us with excursions. We grabbed a taxi and headed downtown to walk the town instead.

We saw so many neat things while we walked along the beach.

There are lots of locals that build the most beautiful sandcastles

Bronze Statues are all along the beach walk

There was a man who was standing rocks on top of each other that gathered a very large crowd. It was very suspenseful to watch. Hailey was mesmerized.

My favorite place on earth! Hailey very much enjoyed her pink milk and they actually knew how to my drink.

Hailey loved collecting very bright red and orange leaves along the walk

This was a gorgeous church that we went into

We tried on lots of different hats, this picture is my favorite!

We had to buy a barbie parachute from the nice lady that I was able to bargain down to $6 from $10 that I still think I  paid $5 too much for for something that never got used and now sits in a drawer.

Luckily the lady was very determined to help us out as we never got it in the air

and we got some great family pics

Once we got back on the boat after we enjoyed a margarita in the grass at the marina, Hailey and I let Daddy take a nap and we headed to the pool for a quick swim.
We then walked around the boat and watched the Princess boat leave. We got a kick out of the large yellow paper hand waving from the front of boat. We were in port with this boat every day and Hailey loved that it was called Princess. She still today calls it the princes boat.

At dinner the wine steward made her a butterfly out of the menu and a wine cork. We still have it in tact in her room. She treasures it!

It was a pretty quite mellow day, this is what we wanted our vacation to be like. We wanted to enjoy each port  but without the hustle and bustle of the excursions.

Shaundy I sware you could drop us on a deserted island and you and I would find the only Starbucks around... LOVE THAT.

Ok so the picture with the wine cork butterfly is hilarious - I love Hailey's "fine take a picture but I am not going to stop coloring" stance. hehehehehe
