Come Playdoh with Me!

At last, the long overdue 3rd Birthday pictures are here. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us on this very special day. The Playdoh Princess had a wonderful birthday with so many wonderful friends and family that she is still talking about it and is already planning next year's.

I had decided about 9 months prior that we were going to have a playdoh party and I am so glad that we keep that tought as it was a hit. My mom made her homemade playdoh with a recipie the party favors and all the activities were around playdoh! It was pretty casual as a 2-4 year old's attention span is about the size of a pea so we made sure it was laid back and fun.

We had a party a few days before her actual birthday and were lucky to get some great weather once again! It was not too warm, not too cold, and not to sunny to have all the playdoh outside.

We had the kids make playdoh mats when they arrived and then they all went outside for some playdoh fun. I think the adults had way more fun then then kids though :) We then had lunch which consisted of Hotdogs and easy to eat snacks of fruit, and chips and then let the kids run rampant around the house and  back yard and played a bit more with the playdoh. We then had cake and icecream, yes she did get her wish of a chocolate princess cake, along with the mommy-made playdoh cupcakes. After cake we had to round up all the kiddos as there was a special treat outside - a playdoh scavenger hunt. This was the hit of the party as there were TONS of playdoh cans to look for all over the yard. I was so busy watching that i didn't get much video but I have bit to remind of how cute it was.

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate our little munchkin turn 3 and for all the wonderful gifts, the seemed to be around books, and quiet learning activities which are her most absolute favorites, and Mommy's too :)

By the way, I will not even be thinking about her birthday theme until next August as I felt like I was planning this for a year! I was very lucky to get this theme as Hailey was adament that it was a Princess Party, I had to swindle her into the idea of a Princess Playdoh Party.
