Seahawks 2010

View from the seats!

A few years back Greg surprised me with Seahawk Season tickets (at that time it was just getting on the list). For the past two years we have been able to get seats but they were so high up that we decided to wait. Well this was our lucky year, we got our seats have enjoyed our first game and getting ready for our second this Sunday against the San Diego Charges.

Hailey went with us and we plan on taking her to as many as we can this season as we will probably not get her a seat for a few years to come as Greg went all out and got them in the Club Level. For those of you who have never been to Quest, it is the level that is shared with the suits so you have the nice clean bathrooms with no lines, nice restaurants, tables and chairs with viewing into the game, enclosed areas so you can get out of the cold, and the best part - not a lot of drunk, swearing, idiots. Aren't we just sticks in the mud!

Hailey loves the games, she knows how to go "touchdown", says "Go Seahawks" and behaves wonderfully. She caught the attention of everyone that we met, walked past, etc. They stopped her to give her high fives, say how cute she was, watch her do "touchdowns" and all the people that are in our section made friends with her.

The best part besides the win that day was when she was watching the cheerleaders at half time and shouted "Mommy! I want to do that when I am older!" Oh boy, what am in for! She did fit in quite nicely in her cheerleader outfit though. She won the prize for the cutest outfit of the day!

She got her mascot, Blitz and loves him dearly. She got the Moose at her first Mariners game so we had to carry on with the tradition. Before we left, she made sure that put her moose by the door so we would take him with us but we totally forgot him, she was all better when we said that we would get the Seahawk one. I had no idea if there was such a thing, lucky for me there was.

We tried to have her use the seat next to us but she did eventually get kicked out by our neighbors, they are what we really call sticks in the mud though. They didn't say one word to us, and grunted when I apologized for Hailey grabbing her water bottle instead of hers. We really hope that they are not the ticket holders, we will see on Sunday though. In the meantime... GO SEAHAWKS!!!!
