Tillicum Village Argosy Cruise

We continued our Seattle Tourism Journey this weekend by taking an Argosy Cruise over to Tillicum Village on Blake Island for the afternoon with the Robinson, Haley's, my Mom and Grampa Dexter. Yes, she really was excited to go, just a bit of a crab pot before we got on.

This 4-hour event included a Narrated Cruise to Blake Island, Steamed Clam appetizers upon arrivall, a salmon buffet, a Native American-inspired dance show, a bit island exploration time and a return cruise. The boys were happy to go too, but what a great shot of them huh...Hailey and I ventured out side and got a bit of the wind. This is the village from the boat. The kids on the totem log i guess, Hailey kept calling it a bear, do you see a resemblance in the second picture?
Cooking the Salmon that we got to eat for lunch, it smelled and tasted DELICIOUS!We threw LOTS of rocks on our 30 minute island exploration, of course, we could always use more time at the beach and it was a bit difficult to get her to leave, she is such a beach kid. Looks like we will be having to take a trip to Grampa's House on the Water soon... A map of the island that we would like to go back and explore a bit more.
Our cutest and sweetest little nephew EVER, Grei!
Wouldn't you just love to know what they are thinking and talking about in their kid language?
We had allot of fun but it was a whirlwind trip, we all wished that it was at least a 5-6 hour tour so we could have had a bit more time to enjoy the island and take in the scenery.
We ended our adventure by taking a stroll down to Miner's Landing Pier on the Waterfront and took a ride on the Carousel, and no, Hailey didn't have to pay. (check out the prior blog for full details)
