Hailey and I hit the Bellevue Art Fair tonight and I sweet talked one of the nice Policemen to let Hailey sit on his motorcycle so I could take a picture just like Daddy did when he was a little boy.

The Police Officer actually got on the bike and rode it up onto the sidewalk, did whatever he had to do to get it standing straight up and then he made sure that I had the "whole" bike in the picture. He was super nice!
I had no idea but apparently due to budget cuts, this was the first year that the City of Bellevue was not able to provide this fun activity for the kids. Come on, with those bikes and in Bellevue! Really?
I remember this from when I was growing up, they were at each art fair on the corner of Bellevue way and NE 8th where US Bank "was" It is now Lincoln Plaza :( my how the city has changed.
I vote for bringing back the pictures with the City of Bellevue Police motorcycles at the Bellevue Art Fair. Who is with me?
