Roller Derby Day

We took advantage of a great Groupon Deal, rollerskating for 2 and hot dogs at the Everett Skate Deck. Yes, for those of you who know me well and are shocked that I went to Everett, it is true, we are starting to venture out of the Mill Creek/Belleuve bubble. It was a bit odd that we had to go through a metal detector to get in but at least on the positive side, there were not guns ;)



She had so much fun and has been asking to go back daily. Isnt' she just the cutest little roller skater. 

We had one melt down, she couldn't go fast like everyone else. I think there were some mom's who thought I was making her stay against her will, but honestly, she was just upset because she needed to hold my hand and couldn't race. I have a feeling that there are many more roller skating adventures in our near future.

Can we say, roller derby?

 Took a break to get a hot dog and couldn't resist the red rope. This is what I remember about my roller skating days.

I have heard that there is toddler skate times on Saturday's at Skate King in Bellevue, it will be hard to beat the 2 mile drive to Everett, but Bellevue is my comfort zone.
