Santa's Coming (came) to Mill Creek

Our cute little community does this fantastic parade every year down main street featuring different businesses and ending with Santa coming through town on a horse drawn carriage.

We have gone every year and have loved watching it grow into a such a wonderful community event.

This year, they redirected the parade to head south through Mill Creek Town Center towards City Hall where they did the tree lighting. How fun to be apart of such an amazing community. There is something magical about experiencing this in your own town.

We stood in very quick line at Starbucks for hot cocoa and coffee but it took almost 30 min to get our drinks so we didn't have them for the parade but we go them in time to walk to the tree lighting.

After the tree lighting, everyone meandered back to the town center to enjoy the activities that they had, including cookie decorating - what a treat to have hot cocoa and a cookie before dinner!
