Water, Play and Animals - August Park a Week #1

By luck, Hailey and I came across this great park in Everett by reading out 2006 Starbucks book of parks in King, Snohomish and Pierce Counties, Forest Park. It has a great splash pad, the largest playground for all ages, huge grass fields, petting zoo, swimming pool, classes, etc.

We had a great time exploring and thank goodness for the emergency summer bag with swim suit, towel and sunscreen since our day originated at the Kids Museum just up the road.

The best part - free horse rides every day from 2-3!

This park marks our first "park of the week" - stay tuned for future parks of the week over the next 12 months
