In mid July, Erika and I braved a weekend with the three girls and were pleasantly surprised. We had a great time with lots of laughs and memories and are looking forward to our next weekend get away. A tradition in Erika's family is to write a top ten of the vacation events and this is the one that she put together.

9) If I had a dime for every time I heard the word "princess" I would be rich!
8) Whipped Cream Vodka, Blueberry Vodka, and Smores - for the mommies - this was our reward for getting three kids down every night!
7) Quote: "Can you help me get this stick out of my a$$?" Not realizing what she said after sitting on a marshmallow roaster. (I think that was Blueberry Vodka night)
6) 5AM wake-up calls + no nap = too much stimulation and a need for quiet time. Found: Jordyn reading on the toilet, esacping everyone.
5) Lanterns being lit off the beach and a firework show finale
4) Hailey putting her fingers in every sea annonome she could find on the beach, Jordyn wondering why Hailey would stick her finger in the "sea a-mem-a-knee"
3) Quote after taking a bite of a smore: "Is this mine?" Followed by extreme laughing...(that was whipped cream vodka night)-you had to be there, I swear it was funny. :)
2) Being able to cross berry picking off the "bucket list"
1) Trying not to hit Shaundy with my gum, throwing it, and hitting a random guy instead. This was followed by ducking behind the Tahoe, laughing/crying, and maybe peeing our pants just a tad.
...There was a tie for #1...I think Superman flying off the top bunk might be right there for #1...
We did so much in a short weekend...

Did lots of swimming
Had some quiet time
Enjoyed our kidless evenings

and my favorite, berry picking!
