Back when I was little my mom took my brother and I to to Bellfield office park in Bellevue to feed the ducks. It was such fun time and one of my fondest memories. We would save all of our heels of the bread in the freezer and when we had a full bag we would head down to feed the ducks!
I wanted to relive this with Hailey so we have been saving up our heels of our bread for a few months and finally had enough to check out the ducks.
We invited our friends, The Twohy's, the come along too and the girls just had the grandest time. It has changed quite a bit in the past 25 years but we still found a few ducks and were even lucky to find a little family just figuring out how to swim. We also went on a nature walk and saw turtles, birds and bunnies. It turned into quite the adventure.
Kendra was more interested in her shoe!
The only place we could find the ducks were in large overflowing puddles from the slough into the parking lots so hopefully after we collect enough bread it won't be so murky and wet and the ducks will actually be swimming in the creek vs. the parking lot.
