We went to Dooz in Bellevue square this evening for Hailey's first hair cut. They did a really cute job and Hailey was a perfect angel. I have been pondering what to do about her hair for a few weeks and finally got up the courage to just cut it off. On Sunday she was letting me play with it while she watched her show before bed and I clipped up the mullet underneath and said, this is it! It will look really cute to just cut off the mullet at the next layer that has grown in just below her ears.
After making sure that my mom could be there with her busy schedule, on the same day that worked with our swimming schedule and than finding a salon that had an appt within these hours and days, we set on Dooz in Bellevue square and I am really glad that we did.
They were able to cut off the mullet in a pony tail for her scrap book, took a before and after picture and than put it all in a cute little keepsake card for her to take home. She even got to pick out a prize out of the price machine. How cool is that!
Hailey sat in the chair the whole time and hardly moved, (there are tv's in the mirrors) we have been talking about it all week and then went in early to check it out. All the prep was well worth it as she walked right up like she knew what she was doing.
I am very happy that we finally cut it off and she is the cutest little red head with a flippy bob that is just the cutest thing ever.
Could there be a better way to celebrate? Red Mango for Dessert!
