The love of Mickey and Minnie!

Maybe it was Chloe's 2nd Birthday party theme, maybe it was the few little Mickey things that showed up around the house, maybe it was seeing Mickey in the Mall in Silverdale on one of our weekends at "Grampa's house on the water" or maybe it was just hereditary (Gramma Lela loves Mickey too!) Whatever it was, Hailey has the most unconditional love for Mickey Mouse and his pall Minnie.

I never thought that I would be ok with anything that has characters on them but when you see how happy they make your child, all those thoughts seem to disapear and you find yourself scouring stores and websites for the perfect item. I still have yet to be sucumbed to clothes with characters on them and I will do anything to stand up against it!
Some of the other characters that she likes are the Little Einsteins, which is a preschooler version of Baby Einsteins which we were huge fans of. She is also getting into Disney's Princesses and Cailou which is a show on PBS that my mom found and is actually pretty good, very soft spoken and teaches things like manners and how to be a nice person :) we love those!

When Gramma Lela and Grampa George were here a month ago, Hailey acquired her 16" matching Mickey and Minnie dolls courtesy of Gramma Lela from the Disney Store. (there is a snipet of this in a past blog)

Mickey and Minne go everywhere with us, we do not leave home with at least one of them or Mommy could be in big trouble. It would be almost as leaving "ba" at home!

These are just a few of the places Mickey and Minnie go that I have been able to captures pictures of. They also go to Gamma's, goes on car rides, sleeps with her, plays with toys, eats with us, etc.

Playing at the park
Goes to the mall (this was the day that we got them)

Watching a show (I had Ellen on, and she thought she was funny)

In taken care of in the playhouse

Going on a walk

Plays with toys

Playing with puzzles

Going on a bike ride

Going grocery shopping

Hailey also asks to go to Disneyland,we have started thinking about when that trip will be but probably not soon. One thing that Gramma Lela would like more than anything is to take her Grandaughter to Disney Land for the first time, I hope that we get to honor that wish!

Anytime we see anything Mickey her eyes light up and she gets so excited. The good thing is that she is very good with not asking for things and if she does and I say "not right now", then she is very well mannered. It is hard to say no though :)
