Seafair Parade

Greg won tickets to the bleacher seating at the Seafair parade this year and we took Hailey to her first parade. Greg also surprised us with a hotel at the Shereton so we could enjoy the evening in downtown and not have to fight the traffic. It was really nice to pretend that we were tourists for a day. We had dinner at The Cheese Cake Factory and then I went shopping for a bit while Greg and Hailey rested before the parade. My only regret is that I didn't get a picture of the three of us once again, I thought about it all night but there were issues with our seats and it was kinda a fiasco, by the time we were finally seated, the parade had started and all the people around us had kids that they were dealing with. Oh well, I hope to get one soon!

Hailey had a great time, and stayed awake until 9:30. She then turned around and fell asleep on my shoulder. Greg and I were able to enjoy the rest of the parade while we ensured that her ears were covered when the drums and the Seafair pirates went past.

It was great seeing Hailey experience Seafair in how we both so fondly remember it from growing up. I look forward to many more of these types of memories with her as she grows up and as we start to build these traditions with her that she will remember with her own family someday.

Its fun to see how you guys are doing stuff with her like we used to do with Gregory and Kevin. I used to take them to alot of parks and of course Seafair was a big part of our life along with boating. Love the pictures and even one with Daddy and Hailey. Thats a very nice addition.

Boy Hailey Mommy is getting pretty dang hot. You look GOOD Shaundy.

You're an inspiration for me to get with it again.
