With the heat that has hit Western Washington, we have gotten our full use out of our A/C this summer once again. Greg likes to remind how I was not impressed with his getto plan a few years ago but I have since come to the realization that getto A/C is better then no A/C. Therefore, we have been able to acutally enjoy the summer heat wave that started in May and do not mind it when the temperature guage reads 95 in the afternoon or 75 at 10 pm, we actually kinda like it!
Here are some pictures of how we kept cool yesterday in the backyard. Hailey came down with a slight bug on Friday so we tried to take an easy with the exception of the parade on Saturday. It was nice to be able to just relax. Something that we haven't had a lot of time to do this summer yet. We also got a new (used) Jogging Stroller yesterday and took it for two nice walks in the later afternoon to break it in. Hailey actually fell asleep in it about half way through the second walk, she hasn't fallen asleep in her stroller since she was in the infant car seat that snapped on top. I think that means she likes it??? :)

I love your pool Miss Hailey. That looks like fun. Wonder if Grandma could go down it. I look forward to the day that maybe Mommy will let you come down here for a couple weeks to spend with Grandma and Grandpa during the summer. Mommy? lol. When I was a kid my aunt in ND was like my grandma in a sense and I used to go by myself there and even one year spent most of the summer there. I was very close to my aunt. Love you Miss Hailey and I can't wait for Hawaii to spend just 10 days with you and not have to run all over the place like when we come there.
