We frequent this park quite often so I only found it appropriate to add it to our weekly park blogs even though it is not considered a new park. SilverCrest Park in Mill Creek is about 2 blocks away from our home and we love to take the dog on a walk, ride our bike, scooter, trike, or just go and collect leaves which is what we did for our October Park of the Week #3. We are working on an Autumn craft and went on a leaf hunt walk to the park
The basketball court is a great place for Hailey to learn to walk the dog as well as ride her bike. The toys are just enough to fulfill a little "want to go to the park but we don't have enough daylight or time" itch.
I don't have any pictures to share of this particular visit as we go so often I don't always bring my camera but I did find this cute one of Hailey and "Bakoda" from a few weeks ago.
This is a great park for any time of the year too until they replaced the nice rubber surface with wood chips. Some idiot placed one of those geocaching things there and people started digging up the solid rubber layer. We watched people a few times dig around the benches and trees and it was just quite coincidental that the next time we were there the rubber had many large holes in it and then was soon just replaced. BOOOOO
