Science, Butterflies and a bit of painting

I know, it has been another 6 weeks since my last update. What can I say, we just do too much fun stuff to have the time to blog!

But after all the harassment I got last night, I figured I better find a bit of time to get a few quick posts up.

Each year in April when my mom takes a week off for Spring Break, I usually take a few days off too. This year we spent one of those days with our good friends the Twohy's and headed down with the girls to the Pacific Science Center to check out the butterflies. There were so many other things to experience that we didn't get a chance to do them all so we hope to go back real soon.

The butterflies were the absolute favorite!

We ended the day in Seattle celebrating Hailey's half birthday with some ice cream at the candy shop at the Seattle Center. Hailey also got a swirly "wolly pop" that is still being worked on at home.

They had to sit in the hand chairs, thank goodness they didn't know that they moved!

Later that afternoon we then went and painted pottery which is our special way to celebrate. It is great how her half birthday is usually during the week that my mom takes off too!

This years selection included a bunny for Easter that was painted pink with purple polka dots and a cheese plate in the shape of a wine bottle.  (her foot is on the back)
