A couple of playdates with some great friends

We had a very busy Saturday and we recouped with a lazy Sunday.

On Saturday morning we had Hailey's good friend Chloe and my good friend Julie over for a playdate. We had such a nice visit and we thank them so much for making the long drive up to our house from Issaquah. I KNOW it was well worth their drive from how much fun the girls had don't ya think?

The girls get along so well, they have known each other since they were infants (6 weeks apart). It is just WONDERFUL to have such special friends.

The girls started off by playing with the toys in playroom, then ran up and down the hall, had a snack, played some more, had lunch, then jumped and giggled with daddy for around a half hour. At first we thought that they were giggling with each other but come to find out Greg is playing with them while they are in Hailey's playhouse and he is laying on the bed, they then all ended up on the bed, covered him with dolly clothes and blankets and jumped on top of him. This was all going on while Julie and I were able to catch up and have some great conversations, something that has not always been the easiest thing to do. It is amazing how times change so fast!

Yes there are many pictures with missing pants in the pictures, both girls are potty training and it just somehow happened that way.

Playing with the doll house

Playing with the box of infant toys - for some reason, this box always gets taken out every time there are kids over. Hence, why it is still in the house.

Just being the cutest kids that they are!
Thanks for the great time!
That evening, after a nice long needed nap, we all headed over to see a friend of ours with his 17 month old little girl, Kayla. Last time they were here was last summer and she was just crawling, this time, they were playing together and a bit closer in age. They had just the best time especially with the stroller running it up and down Kayla's Grandma's hall way. Hailey was just the cutest when she would offer the stroller for Kayla to have a turn.
Nick, Kayla's dad, is one of Greg's good friends from childhood, they grew up together on the same street. We miss them terribly and hope to get out to see them in Michigan some day soon.

Kayla is just the cutest, happiest, little thing who just loves her Daddy! She always knew where he was and he is just amazing with her. It is just crazy to see how these guys all grew up when their little princess came into the picture.

Kayla is a little hugger, Hailey wasn't too sure at first but warmed up quickly. She also just had to touch the deer that is Grandma Joyce's front yard, hope she doesn't get made when she sees this picture! It was Nick's idea!
We can't wait to see them again in August when they will be doing even more of the same things.
