Suquamish "kid" family get away

A few weeks ago, we had a weekend get away with the Robinson's and Haley's for a "kid" family get away at my dads beach house in Suquamish. It was so much fun and the first time that we have ever done anything like this without my mom and Stephanie and Kristina's Dad (Grampa Dexter)

We went over the last weekend in March and were very lucky to have amazing weather. Here is a run down of the fun filled weekend.

We loved the view, who wouldn't

We didn't starve, we all pitched in to cook...

Playdoh was a good pastime

We took a walk to Chief Seattle's grave site

We found lots of "blowers' at the cemetary

and lots of dandelions too!

hand in hand down the dock

and then the eagles came to feed on the fish (probably 8-12 eagles right overhead for a few hours)

Puzzles were fun, especially when we all worked on them together

The marine science center was also very educational

Someone was promised an Orca, thank goodness a small one was found first.

We enjoyed the waterfront park in Poulsbo

Decorating Easter cookies was great, but they were very sleepy from the fun filled day

Kids didn't starve either

We then tried to fly home

Thanks for the great weekend Stephanie, Justin, Madeleine, Kristina, Ry, and Arcani Grei - we had so much fun and cannot wait till out next get away!
