Back in My Arms

Hailey has a special book that we read each night

You love the outdoors,
and play ball on your own.
Everyday I am amazed
at how big you've grown.

You try new things
each and every day.
When you succeed,
I shout "horray!"

You build with blocks
and hug your favorite bear.
But when you are with others,
you always share.

You like picking flowers
in the spring.
You show me what's special
about the little things.

When you learn something new
like a happy song,
you always ask me
to sing along.

And when your head gets heavy,
late at night,
your mommy and daddy
will hold you tight.

No matter where you go,
you'll be close to me.
Back in my arms
is where you will be.

She makes sure that we remember this special book and she sleeps with it each and every night.
