We have had success!

Tonight marks a HUGE milestone!!!!!!!!!! She went potty in the potty for the 1st time tonight!

I was so excited that I shrieked, jumped, yelled for Daddy, said that I was proud of her all at the same time which I think scared her as she jumped and gave me a funny look. I think she was pretty shocked that she did it too as she got up and looked in the potty and had a perplexed look on her face.

Of course I had to get pictures, fortunatly, the potty one did not show too much detail but it really is there. She is so going to kill me later!

We have had the potty in the house for about 6 months and had it just around to get used to it. About a month ago though we started putting her on it before her night time bath to get her accustomed to when to use it. This weekend she said that she had to go poop and ran to the bathroom, no success, but what a great start! She has been talking up the potty and what not's for awhile and has been letting us know when she would like her diaper changed occasionaly. She also will say when she has pooped, by grabbing her diaper and running to the changing table or will say "poo-pee, dipur"

Tonight I asked her if she would like to take her bath early as she had quite a bit of fun with her dinner. She said yes and ran down the hall the bathroom. I undressed her in the bathroom instead of in her room due to the mess, she then lifted the seat to her potty, sat down, and went. Just like she had been doing it forever.

Honestly, I have to say, I think I am in trouble!

Tonight she also was picking out some books to read and she grabbed the first one which was a lift the flap color book and said "culors" colors, the second one was about Mommies and babies and she said "mommy" and the third one was all about different types of bears and she said "beers" bears.

If she still has those blow-ups having her potty trained would truly be a blessing!!! lol
