For Christmas Grandpa Ken, Grandma Lori, and Auntie Kara gave Hailey tickets to go see Lisa and Linda who have a children's symphony series called Let Your Music Shine. Lisa is Kara's voice instructor and the series has won many awards. They also gave her the entire DVD/CD package with a cute shirt. Hailey loves it, as she dances to it all the time. She even tries to put the CD in her CD player all by herself, she is not quite there yet so she asks for help "Mus Ples"
Today was the day of the show and she had a fantastic time. Hailey, Grandma Lori and I went to the show which was at a church in Redmond and it was so much fun to watch her eyes when they came out on stage, they pretty much said it all. "I see you at home, what are you doing here???" She was completely intrigued and even did a bit of the sign language that they do in the show. Write and Shine were the ones that she picked up on. She danced, cheered and clapped the entire time. Very engaged in the whole program. We will be sure to take her to future shows.
