First off... Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful time celebrating the long weekend with your families.
Not much is new within the Muchin Household... hence the long lapse in posting an update.
Hailey is learning things like crazy, she is such a little sponge. At times we feel that she repeats everything we say and is having full on conversations with us. Just the other day Dakota, our black lab, ate one of her new shoes and mommy and daddy were quite upset as he got a good yelling at. A few minutes later we heard the little munchin babbling with quite a force full voice. We turned to see her pointing at Dakota and speaking loudly in her baby talk at the dog - like she was telling him how upset she was at him for eating her shoe. It was pretty funny.
She is learning new things everyday and is picking up new skills with her toys all the time. Just yesterday she learned how to use her toy cash register by putting the plastic coins in the slots, pushing down the coresponding lever to drop it in the register and then pushing the change button to have it come out the side. She giggles every time is comes out.
Hailey has also started taking up dancing and has quite the time at Grandma's with all her friends. Sarah, Cossette, Annabelle and her all dance in cirles to the tunes on this electric guitar. It just makes us all laugh to see the spinning, knee bobbing, head bopping, hip shaking girls shake their little booties all around the room.
We have taken a short break on the swimming lessons to give us a bit more flexibility with the holidays that are now upon us, we really miss them but know that it is for the better to not have any classes scheduled for a few months so we can really enjoy the holiday season with our family and friends. We look forward to starting back up in February or March. For now Hailey is enjoying our Tuesday visits to Bellevue Square to play in the new Kids Cove on the 3rd floor for a hour. We are hoping to make this a weekly occurance with all of Hailey's friends too - if you have or now anyone around the age of 1 or older please feel free to meet us there at 5 pm on Tuesdays. It is also a great way for mommy to get in a few errands each week as well as we will soon be able to enjoy Snowflake Lane which is evey night at 7pm where snow falls as live toy soldiers and winter characters, music, and a dazzling light show brighten the night. It will be a great way to keep in the holiday sprit all month long.
