Camping Trips

This summer we went on two camping trips, the first one we went to Lake Chelan over the 4th of July. We were not sure how Hailey was going to do but she turned out to be out little camper, loving being outside, playing in the lake, sitting by the fire, sleeping on the air mattress with Mommy and Daddy (we thought that Daddy was going to end up in the car). The boat was a different story, we took her out for her first ride and she was not that impressed to start with, the “big red coat” was not her cup of tea but she soon got used to it and ended up falling asleep.

Our second camping trip was with my whole family, Mom, Dexter, Brian with a few of his friends, Stephanie, Justin and Madeline, and Suzi and Ry. We went to an old favorite, Laurent’s Sun Village on Blue Lake in Sun Lakes. It is where we went camping when we were all younger before significant others and children. It was great to be able to share this camping experience with them. We hope to make this a family tradition each year as we had such a great time. The girls enjoyed their pool, as the lake was not Hailey’s favorite. Hailey and Madeline played for hours, she was such a great playmate for Hailey. Hailey also says that she is also almost ready to go inner tubing.
